Each year since 1998 Noonga has hosted Sorry Day ceremonies, on or around 26 May, at the Stolen Generations memorial site in Kalinga Park, Kalinga.

The site was chosen because it sits in the vicinity of homes and institutions where Aboriginal children were taken from families between 1897 and 1970.
